We could not have had a better experience. Lisa found us the perfect house and in 3 days we were under contract. Lisa her group have been super helpful since we are 1300 miles away and they assisted us with providing access for window treatment installers and furniture deliveries.
Ed & Terry McMahon
Lisa and her staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. They even helped with our furniture delivery when we could not be there. I would highly recommend Lisa. Both Lisa and Jayda went out of their way to help us get settled in our new home.
Though Lisa F. did sell my home, I’m concerned about issues that arose during the sale that left a sour taste in my mouth and I felt as if I didn’t deal with honest people who were truly in it for me, the seller. First being told by Lisa herself that she isn’t going to push the sale of my home if I’m not one of her “inventory”. Another being a major issue with the inspection for the sale of my home. Lisa didn’t attend for the inspection and instead sent an office girl to attend. Though I did not stay for the inspection, before I left my home, the inspector told me he would be turning off the main to my home to restart my dishwasher specifically. Upon returning home a few hours later, I noticed my air conditioner was not working. Upon further inspection, I then found that the fuse switches to the a/c unti were switched off. This led to investigation by an electrician and an a/c tech who said the compressor to my a/c was blown and I was told the only way that could have happened was if someone turned the main off and on too quickly! Well, that led to me contacting Lisa who wasn’t any help at all, literally. My children, dog and I were left in our home sweating like crazy without a/c for over 5 days. Lisa just kept telling me basically she was not responsible and not wanting anything to do with it or take any responsibility, though happily taking her commission from sale of my home if you know what I mean. But bottom line, no home owner should return home after an inspection to find something not working and not one single person who had been in the home for several hours take responsibility! Especially when a home for sale is the responsibility of the company selling it! In the end, Lisa and her team went behind my back without my permission and charged me for the repair of my a/c without my knowledge and subtracted it from my profit from the sale. Sneaky sneaky and typical keys. Everyone, make your realtor sign something before you allow an inspection so no one else has to go through what I did. I would also recommend it’s better to deal with honest people.
2 days after the inspection you called to say the ac was not working & you asked if I had insurance to cover it. You then had the co. that you hired send me the bill. I called the owner who told me that you have been having problems w/the ac & they were out to the house a month prior. He forwarded me an email he sent to you which said “Christine I was very clear when we spoke about what happened to your unit. This in no way could have been caused from home inspection this was a failure from w/in a sealed unit. Please straighten out your option as this had nothing to do with that inspection. I will be sending a professional letter to the realtor stating the cause was not the home inspection issue. Please secure my payment as I was under impression you were paying not that I was waiting till closing to get paid.” You are accusing the attorney of doing something illegal. Your Mom who owned the house agreed to pay the Co. as a lien was being placed. The attorney wouldn’t pay w/o permission.
