CBSREC Hosts "Home For The Holidays" in Marathon

COLDWELL BANKER SCHMITT HOSTS ANNUAL “HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS” EVENT
Florida Keys – December 3, 2012 – The Annual Coldwell Banker Schmitt Real Estate Co. “Home for the Holidays” event featured Santa and Ms. Claus greeting over 138 local children at its Marathon office the evening of Saturday, December 1st. Santa and Mrs. Claus arrived by fire truck, courtesy of the Marathon Fire and Rescue Squad. Gift bags and glow necklaces were distributed to the children and each was given a bag of free, holiday cookies courtesy of Winn Dixie and Publix.
The evening was accented by a star-studded light show with children’s Christmas music produced by Patty Hillman. Assisting Patty this year in the set-up of lights were CBSREC staff members Linda Finch and Sonia MacKenzie.
Many local businesses participated in the event including Florida Keys Keynoter, Specialty Hardware, Winn Dixie and Publix.
“A Christmas Star-Studded Light Show” with music will be performed on December 24th, Christmas Eve in the Coldwell Banker Schmitt Real Estate Co. parking lot to begin at approximately 6:15 pm.
Brian Schmitt, president and broker, said, “All of us at Coldwell Banker Schmitt want to acknowledge and thank everyone who helped to make this seasonal celebration so enjoyable. We plan to continue the “Home for the Holidays” celebration as an annual tradition for the Middle Keys community.”
