Florida Keys – March 29, 2013 - Coldwell Banker Schmitt Real Estate Company’s (CBSREC) Middle Keys office hosted its Mega Yard Sale on Friday & Saturday, March 22-23, 2013.
The yard sale took place in Marathon’s Office Depot parking lot and collected $6,201 for the Coldwell Banker Schmitt Charitable Foundation (CBSCF).
the CBSCF acknowledged the following people for their assistance with the yard sale this year: Sheriff Rick Ramsey and Capt. Gene Thompson; Monroe County Sheriff’s Office; Mike Puto; Office Depot; Property Doctors; D’Asign Source; Marathon Garbage Service; and Coldwell Banker Schmitt Agents/Staff.
“We want to thank those that donated items to be sold as well as everyone who came out and shopped.” said Brian Schmitt, president and broker, “100 percent of all contributions are distributed within Monroe County to individuals, families, and non-profit organizations whose critical needs are not being met through other means.”
Since its inception in April 2002, the Foundation has raised over $1,053,000 through the generous hearts and spirits of the Coldwell Banker Schmitt Real Estate agents, associates, business partners, the public, and affiliates. Last year marked the tenth (10) anniversary of the CBSCF. Its fundraising goal was to raise $1 Million by the end of 2012. This goal was met thanks to the generous donations and fundraisers.
