Coldwell Banker Schmitt Hosts Annual “Home For The Holidays” Event In Marathon

Florida Keys – December 28, 2015 – The 8th Annual Coldwell Banker Schmitt Real Estate Co. Home for the Holidays event featured Santa and Mrs. Claus greeting 241 local children at its Marathon office the evening of Thursday, December 10th. Santa arrived by fire truck, courtesy of the Marathon Fire and Rescue Squad. Each child got to sit on Santa’s lap and provide him with their Christmas wish list. Gift bags and glow necklaces were distributed to the children and each was given a bag of holiday cookies courtesy of Laurie’s Deli.
The evening was accented by a dazzling holiday light show accompanied by children’s Christmas music produced by Patty Hillman. Assisting Patty this year in the set-up of lights were her husband, Harvey, and CBSREC staff member, Jim Sebastian.
Local businesses that participated in the event included Florida Keys Keynoter, Specialty Hardware, and Laurie’s Deli.
“Christmas Lights” with music was performed on December 24th, Christmas Eve in the Coldwell Banker Schmitt Real Estate Co. parking lot.
