Charlie Young, Coldwell Banker’s New President/CEO Addresses Coldwell Banker Schmitt’s Elite Agent Circle Members

Florida Keys – Coldwell Banker Schmitt Real Estate Company’s (CBSREC) Elite Agent Circle group gathered November 30 for a special presentation at Playa Largo Resort in Key Largo.
The keynote speaker was Charlie Young, Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC’s new president/CEO. Following introductory remarks from Brian Schmitt, CBSREC’s president/broker, Young outlined Coldwell Banker’s planned initiatives and goals for the upcoming year, and took the opportunity to engage in dialog with the attendees concerning the state of the Florida Keys real estate market and its attributes.
Frank Goldberg, a Broward-based expert on the Affordable Healthcare Act, spoke afterward to explain the options for healthcare coverage during 2017 and answer questions.
Membership in the Elite Agent Circle is gained through being among the Top 100 of all Florida Keys real estate agents in sales performance. Forty-one CBSREC agents currently qualify, more than found in the next six companies combined.

Charlie Young returned to Coldwell Banker Real Estate LLC in September 2016 when he was appointed President and Chief Executive Officer. Young first joined the Coldwell Banker brand in 2004 after an extensive career in business management, field operations, marketing and real estate operations. Initially, he served as Senior Vice President of Marketing and later was promoted to Chief Operating Officer. Young transitioned to a similar role at ERA Franchise Systems LLC in February 2009, before being appointed to the role of President and Chief Executive Officer two months later. His seven-year tenure with ERA Real Estate saw the brand grew revenue from adjusted gross commission income by 43 percent since 2010.
