Coldwell Banker Schmitt Realtors® Featured In “Selling Private Islands” TV Series

Three local real estate agents, Brett Newman, Sally Stribling and Paul Andrews from Coldwell Banker Schmitt Real Estate are currently featured on two separate episodes of the new television series, “Selling Private Islands.”
The program was created by AWE TV, a lifestyle channel carried on AT&T/U-Verse, DirectTV and other providers.
Newman is featured on Episodes 7 and 8 of the show, which highlight both private island properties and large private estates shown by Newman to two different sets of potential buyers. Stribling appears in Episode 7 showing her Tavernier Key listing to Newman and the potential buyers. Tavernier Key is a 17-acre offshore island on the oceanside of Tavernier Creek currently listed for $10,149,000. Andrews, Stribling’s partner, captains the boat transporting the agents and buyers to the island. The buyers compare the idea of building on the offshore island versus purchasing an oceanfront estate on Plantation Key, in this case, Newman’s listing at 89251 Old Highway on “Millionaires Row.” This large estate is listed for $6,900,000 and offers the privacy of 4.3 acres of upland on the ocean plus deep dockage and an original settler’s home built in the early 1930s.
Newman is also the featured buyer’s agent for a different set of potential buyers on Episode 8. This episode compares a listing on the private island, Craig Cay to a large bayfront estate in downtown Islamorada. The buyers are shown plans for the future $10,500,000 luxury estate intended for the island including a nearly 10,000-square-foot home, 222-foot long pool, helipad and more. Newman also shows the couple a $4,900,000 private estate located on Maderia Road in downtown Islamorada on the open bay offering an existing renovated home and guest house.
Both episodes are airing on a rotating schedule on AWE TV, found on channel 147 or 1147 (HD) on AT&T/U-Verse and on DirectTV channel 387. See excerpts from Episode 7 here.
