Coco Plum Beach is a resort community and part of the city of Marathon. The Marathon Key boundaries starts on the mile marker 61 to the mile marker 47 of US 1.  Coco Plum Beach is found at MM 54.5. 

Coco Plum Beach offers a good mix of housing types including single family, townhouses and condos.

Coco Plum Beach is on the Atlantic Ocean. It’s a natural beach area with an adjacent wetland area. There are restroom facilities and a covered pavilion available.  The Coco Plum Beach itself is a turtle nesting beach also. To get to Coco Plum Beach turn South on Coco Plum Drive and the Coco Plum Beach entrance is 1.4 miles on the right hand side of the road. The hours are from 7:30 a.m. until dusk.

Marathon is a small town community that has all the major modern conveniences, a great airport, a state-of-the-art modern hospital affiliated with Baptist Health South Florida, and an excellent school system. 

Another reason Marathon homes represent an attractive real estate investment opportunity is that it’s one of the few places in the Florida Keys where weekly vacation rentals are licensed.  Much of the Keys carries a 28-night minimum stay for licensed vacation rental units.
